Craig is an animator/storyboard artist who's originally from Michigan. Raised on a diet of original Walt Disney films and Warner Brothers cartoons, Craig has always loved the look and feel of 2D hand-drawn animation.
Alyx Morgan is also from Michigan, but is more skilled in the art of writing and doing character voices. She was also raised on Disney movies and Bugs Bunny cartoons, but rather than try to draw the characters, Alyx spent her time practicing the voices she heard on the screen.
It's no surprise that the two of them eventually got married, but even with their mutual love of animated films and shows, they didn't think to combine their skill sets . . . that is, until 2016.
That year, Craig told Alyx about his idea for an animated Christmas short, like the ones they'd both grown up on (Charlie Brown Christmas, Year Without a Santa Claus, and Frosty the Snowman, to name a few). Alyx loved the idea, and wrote out a rough draft script to bring it to life.
